While using the "Line", "Box" or "Magic" tools, if you've added some regions, you can click a region button to update the location of that region to whatever is selected.



If you click "Mode: Update Region" to switch the mode to "Select Region", then when you click a region button, that region will be selected. This can make it easy to append some locations to an existing region.
